A growing number of states now put real money into an account with your child's name on it, money a homeschool family can actually spend. Not a tax credit you see next April. The catch is that each state only lets you spend it with providers it has approved, and that list is different in every state.
So here's the straight answer, state by state, with nothing rounded up. Pick your state below. If your account can pay for Kitchen Table School, your page shows you exactly how. If it can't yet, we'll say so plainly, and you can still start free today.
Right now, New Hampshire and Texas are the only two states where we're an approved provider. If your family has an education account somewhere else, your state hasn't approved us yet, and we won't pretend otherwise. Paying us out of pocket and hoping to be reimbursed is not something we'll ever suggest. Most programs don't work that way, and families lose real money on it.
Tell us your state. If we get approved there, you'll get exactly one email saying so, with the exact way to pay. We can't promise every state, and we won't email you about anything else.
Meanwhile, the teacher is $29 a month in all fifty states, and your state's homeschool rules are here in plain English.
The honest version, before you go any further. These are state programs with state rules. We don't run them, we can't approve your family, and we can't speed anything up. The amounts, the deadlines, and the list of what the money can buy are set by each state, and they change. What we can do is keep each page on this site checked against the program's own materials, never ask for your account login, and charge your account exactly what everyone else pays. There's no "ESA price." And nobody legitimate charges you to apply for one of these programs, so if a site asks for money to help you apply, close the tab.
This teacher keeps getting better, and you can check it. Most nights, while your family sleeps, a staff of AI specialists goes looking for weak spots in her teaching, drafts fixes, and verifies each one before it ships. Whatever fails that bar never reaches your kid.
That's easy to claim and hard to prove, so we don't ask you to trust it. The ledger is public. See exactly what got better, and when.
No card to start, in any state. Run the free placement assessment, watch her teach, and decide from there.
